Description
Electrical Engineer required for a leading designer, developer and manufacturer of advanced marine fluid handling systems for ships and offshore oil and gas facilities.
We have an immediate temporary vacancy for an Electrical Engineer, to work within the electrical section of our Engineering team. The duration of the contract is expected to last until the end of December 2008.
The jobs requires an electrical/electronics engineering background and involves supporting the Senior Controls Engineer in his activities on all company products, but particularly at present, our wastewater treatment products.

Person Specification
Must be qualified to Diploma or Certificate level in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and have good experience with the design and documentation of power and control circuits.
They must demonstrate capabilities in AutoCAD, MS Office and general IT awareness
Some experience and knowledge of PLCs is highly desirable.
Practical knowledge of control system build, wiring and testing is also essential.
The candidate will ideally have worked in a mechanical engineering environment, but this is not essential, and will be prepared to undertake short business trips overseas from time to time.
Organisation and accuracy are essential qualities, as well as good communications skills and the ability to work in a small but flexible team environment.
