Description
A leading aerospace manufacturer is looking for a Fluid Dynamicist to work a short term contract.
The responsibilities of the Fluid Dynamics role is to perform aerodynamic design and analysis work for helicopter fuselages and fuselage mounted features and systems e.g. engine intakes, exhaust systems tailplanes, cowls and fairings.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
A good working knowledge, higher education or HM Forces background in aerospace engineering, but this is not essential.
A good working knowledge and understanding of Fluid Dynamics
Working knowledge with the application of the FLUENT code to engineering problems would be ideal but not necessary
Good Analytical and communication skills and willingness to learn would be ideal but not necessary.
Required Skills:
Fluent Code (CDF), Aerospace Design knowledge, Wind Tunnelling knowledge, Aerodynamics code.
