Vibration Test Specialist

Location Bristol or Surrey

Permanent

Salary 30-40k DOE



A leading supplier to the main aerospace OEM's are looking for a specilist in Vibration testing, experience of Doors and the ability to utilise complex test data is also essential. Any other testing and analysis skills would be welcome but not essential.



To work in the Airframe Dynamics Department

Key responsibilities and roles:



To work with equipment engineers to analysis vibration test reports for individual components

Analysis of RAP test results (a instrumented hammer test)

Analyse forces and frequencies to drive test specifications and frequency responses for components

Provide summaries of all specifications and results to clear installations of components for flight approval

Have an input into whole aircraft vibration testing



Knowledge of DOORS, Vibration testing standards are essential



High Cycle Fatigue, Patran, Nastran, LMS VirtualLab and Testlab would be an advantage.



Good written and verbal communication skills are essential
