Description Summary of the role Support the layout and construction of electronics hardware for use in system sub-assemblies and related items, and provision of design support activities.
Key accountabilities · Support the production electronics hardware as required by design engineers · To support programme element development activities
Knowledge, Qualifications, Experience, Skills · Electronics construction and wiring standards · Electronics and related components and their use · PCB design processes and constraints · Current PCB design and manufacturing standards · Assurance processes and procedures · Recognised apprenticeship. ONC or equivalent in Electronics Engineering or related discipline · Awareness of PCB design/layout and /or electronics manufacture · Assembly and construction of electronics hardware for high quality applications · PCB design and layout using appropriate CAD tools · Computer literate in the use of office applications and technical software · Understand and interpret engineering drawings · Able to work effectively in a multi-disciplined teams · Clear and concise exchange of information at all levels · Literate and numerate to a level commensurate with the provision of technical documents
