Description
Mechanical Design Engineer required to assist in the design, specification and proposal generation of new and existing products for the company?s portfolio. To technically support the products and services supplied throughout the operational life of the equipment.Communicate proposals, solutions investigations and conclusions, as required, using MS Office applications, 2D/3D cad package and in-house support tools and systems
The successful candidate will be required to:
Production of specifications (including GA drawings and detail drawings) for quotation and installation / operating purposes covering the entire companies product & services offering within the OEM group
Production of manufacturing and purchasing technical specifications (detail drawings, part lists - BOM) for manufacturing and supply purposes, including compliance with QA and contractual requirements
Creation and control of technical support information to support the product &/or service provided through procurement, manufacture, assembly, test, installation and overhaul / repair
The ideal candidate will have a Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar. You will also have excellent IM Tools, CAD (Solid Edge preferred) and MS Office experience (a high degree of competence with Excel and Word).
