Senior Mechanical Design Engineer / Mechanical Draughtsperson (AutoCAD)
Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire
Up to £35,000 DOE plus Performance-Related Bonus and Pension
Our client manufactures industrial mixers and process equipment. They are currently looking to recruit a highly-experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer / Mechanical Draughtsperson to join their team.
As a key member of the Design Team working on their current and new machinery to maintain their technical leadership, ease of manufacture and installation, the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer / Mechanical Draughtsperson will work closely with production staff and clients to deliver a world-class product to tight timescales and budgets.
As the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer / Mechanical Draughtsperson, you will design and detail a wide range of plant, machines and components from initial specifications to finished products, including stress calculations and drive selections.
To succeed within the role, the candidate must have the following attributes and experience:
- A minimum of HNC/HND or equivalent in mechanical engineering (ideally a degree)
- Extensive working experience in a mechanical engineering or process engineering environment
- Full conversancy with AutoCAD
