Description Job Title: Technical Sales Executive, CCTV Products. Based: Office at Edenbridge, Kent, expected one/ two days per week in the office. The position of Technical Sales Executive is primarily a field sales role. OTE package up to £35K.
Our clients are a long established independant company dedicated to the manufacture and global distribution of high quality, high performance optical, electro-optical and related products for a wide range of commercial, industrial, defence and consumer uses. The Broadcast and CCTV division seek a highly self-motivated, customer focused, technical sales person to sell the world leading Fujinon range of CCTV lenses and accessories into the CCTV and security industry within the UK and Ireland.
Well presented, possessing excellent customer facing and presentation skills and ideally with experience in the CCTV market or a related field, the successful candidate will have a demonstrable track record of winning business in a highly competitive and technically aware marketplace. Excellent customer relationship management, coupled with the ability to maintain and build on the company's enviable reputation as a supplier of high quality products, the role will require the ability to provide customers with cost effective and technically sound solutions whilst maximising the company's profitability. Proactive and well organised, the ideal candidate will be able to gain new business within a variety of market sectors whilst supporting and maximising business from existing accounts. Technical qualifications or a background in electro-optical or related products would be a distinct advantage in the role, although full product training will be provided.
Candidates from technical backgrounds possessing good customer facing skills and seeking a more sales oriented role will also be considered for the position.
Primarily a field sales role, extensive travel throughout the UK and Ireland will be required, with one/two days per week in the office. Therefore the ability to work effectively away from home as well as within a team environment is essential. Living within a reasonable commute from the office is important for appointment making, preparation of demonstration equipment, and providing occasional cover for holidays, sickness, or exhibition work undertaken by other divisional staffs. Responsibilities
* Represent the company and the products in professional manner. * Sell the range of Fujinon CCTV lenses and accessories, and any other products manufactured or introduced by the company. * Working together with other team members, ensure that the divisional sales and profit targets are met and exceeded. * Planning, making appointments, visiting, presenting and demonstrating the products to customers, together with quotations, follow up and closing. * Extensive travel within the UK and Ireland is anticipated. * Participation in preparation, set up and manning of all trade shows and exhibitions that the company attends. * Deal effectively with correspondence, literature requests, telephone enquiries etc. * Provide call plans and regular activity reports on markets, customers, prospects, and other relevant issues, as designated by the Divisional Head. * Keep customer files, e-mail, fax and other data up to date. * Work closely with Divisional Head and other team members & assist in dealing with the division's broadcast customers at times, including exhibition and holiday cover.
