Sales Manager, c£45k, NEW ZEALAND
Our client who are looking for a Sales Manager are recognised as a world leader in the manufacture of sample preparation equipment for the minerals and metals industry.
Their extensive customer base covers 91 countries and includes most major companies. They have experienced continuous and steady growth due to their quality products and excellent customer service and are now seeking a Sales Manager for their Automated Systems.
Based in Auckland, the main purpose of the role of Sales Manager is to manage the entire sales process of Automated Systems world-wide, including client building suitability assessments, costing, budgets etc. You will be responsible for developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies, building new business as well as maintaining long term relationships with existing clients. This will involve extensive overseas travel which will include attending trade shows and conferences.
The ideal candidate will have:
* A tertiary qualification in Chemistry, Geochemistry, Metallurgy or Geology along with analytical chemistry laboratory experience. Emphasis on a strong Metallurgy background, preferably in the mining industry
* Demonstrated sales experience, preferably in capital equipment
* A professional and mature attitude
* The ability to build long term relationships
