Description
The SQAE is expected to work with the Software project management team (PM, EM and SDA) to ensure quality is addressed and embedded within the project. The SQAE effectively operates as the Project Managers "Eyes and Ears" on the project whilst being independent to escalate where appropriate non-conforming process and product to senior management. A suitably qualified engineer with Software Engineering experience obtained working within structured large company and running multiple projects. Ideally with experience of the whole lifecycle from cradle to grave is desirable. The projects will be of a military/defence background operating to AQAPs, Def-Stans, Mil-Stds, ECSSs, with ISO and TickIT accreditation.
Depending on the project experience of performing SQA on the following is required:
Either embedded software, or GUI/MMI projects is required.
Experience of company preferred Software development tools: (ClearCase, ClearQuest, Doors, MS Project, C++, Java, C, UML, )
An engineer conversant and a practitioner with all 23 high level processes, described in ISO 12207, which are employed within software engineering and with particular domain experience which are relevant to the particular project.
