Sheerness, Kent

With operational units in five countries, our client is the world’s leading steel manufacturer.
You will manage engineering resources effectively and will deliver acceptable levels of availability for the plant. Working at ground floor level, you’ll develop and create an environment which encourages team work, safety and progressive engineering techniques.
This will involve working with engineers and customers to discuss existing and potential engineering projects and products. You’ll also design and implement electrical instruments, components and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic use. As well as operating computer assisted engineering and design software/equipment to perform these tasks, you’ll inspect installations to ensure that they conform to stringent quality/safety specifications. Leading by example, you will supervise and train project team members where necessary.
Whether applying for the graduate or experienced positions, you’ll be a confident communicator with a degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
For the experienced positions, you will also have 4-5 years’ experience, ideally gained from within the steel industry.
