ROLE - CAD DESIGN ENGINEER (2D & 3D)
SECTOR - ENGINEERING / DESIGN
LOCATION - SOUTH LEICESTER
SALARY - up to £30k per annum
The Company
Our client is a well established design and manufacturing company specialising in the automation / food industry sector. Their client base included household names such as Pepsico and more locally Walker's Crisps. They are also an investor in people and are a recognized industry leading company in recent awards.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced CAD Design engineer with more than three years in a 2D & 3D design position. Ideally with a sound engineering background and be familiar with manufacturing processes, machining, sheet metal and fabrication. Knowledge of the food/pharmaceutical industry standards
would be a distinct advantage. Applicants must have 2D and 3D software package experience such as Inventor, Autocad or Solidworks along with a working knowledge of MS Office programmes particularly MS Access.
Personal attributes would be flexibility, adaptability with a can do methodical approach to a wide variety of tasks and bespoke projects, which would be undertaken quickly but efficiently.
The person must be able to work with minimum supervision and must be able to complete tasks to tight deadlines within an overall production schedule.
A proven track record in mechanical design should be demonstrated in the fields of special purpose machinery and systems, materials handling and conveyors with a working knowledge of pneumatic systems and appreciation of plc controlled equipment.
