Job Title: Supply Chain Team Leader
Location Poole, Dorset
Fixed Term 18 months to Permanent
Salary 25-30k DOE & benefits
A leading engineering company in Dorset are looking for a supply chain team leader whom is proficient in buying and logistics using MRP. The role is initially to look after a team during a sabbatical but may develop into a permanent role after 18 months. As such your employ will be direct with the company on a PAYE basis.
To organise and develop the Nuclear business Supply Chain team to ensure that all parts are delivered to assembly when required and spares are ready for despatch in time.
Organise the supply Chain Team to ensure parts are procured and delivered to MRP requirements.
Maintain EFACS data accuracy to improve MRP recommendations.
Develop and monitor business processes to improve on-time delivery.
Liaise with suppliers to ensure on time delivery and best price.
Ensure parts are delivered to assembly by latest start dates.
Monitor and audit supplier performance (Quality, Delivery & Price)
Assist BU Manager to develop and improve business performance
