Due to a huge increase in demand in this market-place and multi-million pound investment at the Grangemouth site Syngenta are subsequently looking to augment their skilled Technology and Projects team with 2 talented and qualified Chemical Process Engineers to provide technical expertise on this prestigious project. After the commissioning of the new plant in 2010 the successful candidates are likely to progress with the company; possibly to another location throughout the world.
Responsibilities:
• To resolve technical problems on existing plants
• Develop and evaluate new and modified manufacturing processes
• Prepare process and plant trial documentation and take part in technical start teams
• Appreciate and implement HSE standards as an integral part of the job
The successful candidates will have a degree in Chemical Engineering and experience in a similar role; either post graduate or summer placements. Experience in a chemical manufacturing/continuous process role would be highly beneficial. You will be an ambitious engineer with excellent communication skills who has the ability to work on numerous concurrent projects.
