Description Summary of the role To provide Quality Assurance support to Research Programmes, develop and improve Quality Systems within the Organisational Areas.

Knowledge, Qualifications Experience & Skills · Knowledgeable in contemporary quality assurance processes to deliver effective, accredited QA systems · Knowledgeable in specialisms required to support the R&D programmes (see key responsibilities of role) · Able to demonstrate QA skills appropriate to ensuring the effective delivery of complex technical programmes in a high tech’ environment ideally in weapons, aerospace or IT · Excellent knowledge of company quality policies, processes and procedures and broad knowledge of company assurance systems · HNC (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline · Membership / Associate Membership of the CIQ is preferred · Substantial experience of Assurance in a science facility operating within a regulated environment (ISO 9001, ISO14001 and/or NII licensed site) · Demonstrable track record of significant contributions to management system improvement and/or implementation of value adding quality systems · Able to demonstrate QA skills appropriate to ensuring the effective delivery of complex technical programmes in a high tech’ environment ideally in weapons, aerospace or IT · To underpin these delivery objectives the post holders should exhibit abilities such as presentation of quality improvements to business areas, effective communication and the resolution of conflicting business and quality priorities with senior staff for mutual benefit · Experienced user of Microsoft Office packages To find out more about AWE, this vacancy and to apply, simply click on the apply link below this will take you through to our dedicated recruitment website.
