Our client is a leader in packaging solutions and with a prestigious client base within the dairy industry, they pride themselves on developing strong customer relationships through through innovative approach and commitment to delivering a quality service.
They are now looking for an experienced Systems and Supply Manager to maintain the site’s Integrated Management Systems for Quality, Heath & Safety, Hygiene, HACCP, Environment and Corporate Risk Management. This role is key in ensuring the site’s continued compliance with the BRC/IoP, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 standards as well as company procedures and standards.
Communicative and with the ability to build effective working relationships, you will liaise with our on site customer on a daily basis, ensuring good customer relations and the timely resolution of customer complaints or issues. This role involves significant customer interaction and therefore you will be expected to ensure service levels, quality and continuous improvement are all driven forwards in a positive and cost effective manner.
Managing a team of Warehouse Operatives, you will work to achieve consistently high standards of operational excellence in the business through effective management of planning requirements, manpower, stock control and costs.
You will also take responsibility for ensuring that all Health & Safety checks and inspections are carried out along with reviewing and investigating accidents and incidents with members of the site management team. A NEBOSH or IOSH qualification would be advantageous, however the company is dedicated to developing its employees and full training will be offered to the successful candidate.
The successful applicant will have strong leadership qualities and will be able to demonstrate prior experience of quality control/quality assurance, ideally gained within a high volume manufacturing environment. | | |
