The company currently have an opening for a Manufacturing Support Facilitator to join their team in Port Talbot. The purpose of the role is to improve organisational effectiveness by initiating, designing, developing and implementing learning programmes for the department.
The post holder will be responsible for devising and progressing learning programmes to meet identified departmental requirements and ensure adequate aids are available. You will work closely with the manufacturing management team to ensure that the necessary depth, balance and flexibility of skills levels of team members are achieved and maintained. You will take responsibility for coaching and guiding team members to actively pursue quality improvements through the participation in team problem solving activities. The individual will also be expected to assist in the design of training modules in the Manufacturing areas as appropriate.
The successful candidate will ideally be qualified to HNC / degree level or equivalent and will possess relevant Manufacturing experience. You must be highly organised with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. It is important that you are computer literate and a familiarity with SAP / CATS systems is desirable.
Located in Port Talbot, this role is commutable from areas such as Neath, Bridgend, Barry, Pontypridd, Newport, Cardiff and Pontypool.
