Description
Can you make a difference in a major role in delivering the Cummins next generation of technically advanced products? An outstanding opportunity exists for an experienced manager to use their expertise, decision making and influencing skills to develop programmes that will deliver new products to market on time and within budget.
You’ll have excellent leadership and co-ordination skills and a proven record of achievement in a global context. Able to manage effectively cross-functional links both local and international, you’ll ensure that all key stakeholders commit to, and deliver on agreed plans. Adept at budgetary and timing controls, you’ll keep a close eye on project and work groups and work to overcome issues identified. You’ll be responsible for managing global communication of project programs, and transferring key data to global entities. You’ll be effective in working in diverse and cross-cultural teams and building relationships both within Cummins and in supplier organisations.
Essential Skills:
Qualified to degree level and/or with global project management experience.
Significant experience, preferably at a global level, in leading & delivering major projects in a cross functional team environment.
Some experience in new product development and associated processes.
Six sigma is useful but not essential
