Description Based in the south-west, our client is a world leader offering a complete range of design, build and support solutions across both defence and commercial sectors. In addition to its marine refit and maintenance role, our client working at the earlier stages of major ship design and construction programmes. In the commercial sector they undertake high-tech engineering composite work, overhaul railway equipment and are involved with large yachts and specialist craft. They also undertake nuclear activities, building on their existing skills and project management experience.
An exciting opportunity has now arisen as a result of winning new external business for a Human Factors Specialist to join their team. Ideally qualified to degree level in Ergonomics or Human Factors and with membership of the Ergonomic Society, you will have the ability to understand basic engineering, physics and chemistry. Excellent computer literacy and interpersonal skills are essential. Ideally you should also have experience of applying Human Factors techniques in the Nuclear, or other high consequence industry. | | |
