Description
Well established & highly reputable global contractor with a track record of successful project execution & high quality engineering in both offshore and onshore oil and gas related sector industries seeks a Manager – Principal Controls (Project Risk Manager). With exciting new prospects in the pipeline, they are looking for an experienced professional to undertake this role with responsibility for project risk management within their Energy & Chemicals Division.

Our client covers a wide and diverse range of Oil and Gas related projects, including offshore, onshore, subsea and pipelines, FPSO and LNG. They have proven experience in engineering, information management and project management, expertise which has been consistently applied on all phases of projects from conceptual design through to plan start-up.
The role will involve you managing and leading the development of project risk assessments, involved specifically in evaluating the commercial and technical aspects of the Engineering, Procurement and Construction phases, developing Project Risk Management Strategies that are tailored to meet the requirements for medium to large EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) projects up to $100B and leading the implementation of defined Project Risk Management practices and methods during project acquisition and execution phases.
You will demonstrate a strong technical background with either a degree level qualification in an engineering / technical discipline, or three years directly relevant experience. A professional accreditation and proven experience in industrial/commercial engineering, procurement & construction (EPC) related work would be highly advantageous.
