ELECTRICAL & STRUCTURAL DESIGN TEAM LEADERS
MARINE DEFENCE INDUSTRY
BASED BRISTOL
Based in the south-west, our client is a world leader offering a complete range of design, build and support solutions across both defence and commercial sectors. In addition to its marine refit and maintenance role, our client working at the earlier stages of major ship design and construction programmes. In the commercial sector they undertake high-tech engineering composite work, overhaul railway equipment and are involved with large yachts and specialist craft. They also undertake nuclear activities, building on their existing skills and project management experience.
Our client now has exciting opportunities for Electrical and Structural Design Team Leaders (responsible for leading a small team of engineers to manage and conduct a wide range of design support tasks for RN submarines) both in nuclear decommissioning and their traditional marine support facility & submarine engineering activities.
Highly motivated with a pragmatic approach, you should have a design background with experience of MoD working practise, familiarity with submarine design ,operation and people management.
