Our client is a national distributor of counterbalance and warehouse equipment in the UK.
They currently have an exciting opportunity for a Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) Manager to join their site in Staffordshire. You will lead a small team to ensure that the highest quality of service is provided on a daily basis and in line with the company’s standards and objectives.
You will be responsible for the development and implementation of the group HSEQ policies to create consistent and safe working practices for all employees. You will provide coaching support and advise the management team on the development of HSEQ best practice. You will also facilitate and support the administration of incident investigation, reporting systems and risk assessments. Fire and facilities management will also form part of your responsibilities.
The successful candidate will have worked in a similar role previously and will have a good working knowledge of Management systems based upon the ISO 9001 and 14001 models. You must have had experience in developing Environmental and Quality Management Systems and have a proven record in implementing HSE legislation. You should be a self-motivated individual with strong commercial awareness and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the business. A full UK driving licence is essential for this role.
