Configuration & Data Manager

Salary to £38K
The Configuration and Data Manager is responsible for providing configuration control and data management support and advice across a wide range of projects and bids. The Configuration Manager will also be responsible for the maintenance and implementation of the company configuration and data management processes.
Key tasks would involve one or more of the following:
• To implement the company configuration and data management processes on all assigned projects
• Provide Configuration Management and Data Management support to all bids and projects
• Create detailed Work packages for bids and projects and provide work estimates
• Run project configuration control boards
• Produce and maintain project configuration and data management plans
• Provide support and advice to all engineers and managers on the implementation of DEF STAN 05-57, MIL STD 498 and relevant legislation
• Administer and develop ClearCase and ClearQuest
Experience of the following is required:
DEF STAN 05-57
MIL STD 498
ClearCase
ClearQuest
Sherpa PDM tool
VBA
Perl
CMMI
As is experience working as a project configuration engineer on complex system engineering projects.
