Description SALES ENGINEER COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS NEAR BASINGSTOKE SALARY UP TO £40K dependent on experience
Due to expansion within Europe, Middle East and Africa, our client is looking to recruit a Sales Engineer to offer pre sales support both to Regional Sales Managers and Channel Partners. An existing knowledge of Radio Communications, MPT1327 or TETRA is required.
The company manufactures mission-critical communications solutions for public safety, transportation, utilities, manufacturing, healthcare and business applications throughout the world. The product range includes a wide range of communication solutions:-
• Custom systems • Integrated communication-and-control systems (ICCS) • Radio dispatch consoles • Emergency call-taking systems • Paging infrastructure • Trunked radio • Wireless SCADA and remote-monitoring products
As Sales Engineer you will provide daily internal sales support/ support by discussing system needs, requesting, presenting, exchanging and/or verifying information, or solving problems. You will be expected to communicate regularly with management on sales status and any related issues, and to always provide clear explanations and instructions to customers, partners and/or resellers to address their needs in a way that optimises sales potential.
You may prepare sales quotations, technical responses to Request’s for Quotation , Request’s for Information and Request’s for Proposals, and will participate as needed in setup, presentation and demonstration of products by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events.
As Sales Engineer you will be required to analyse customer requirements, create, prepare, modify and provide sales literature, provide input to Sales & Product Management to identify new markets and products, negotiate and close sales by agreeing terms and conditions, with guidance from Sales Manager and to follow internal procedures so as to comply with company ISO accreditation and meet any pursuant health and safety requirements.
To succeed as Sales Engineer you must be able to demonstrate in-depth knowledge and understanding of company markets and product lines, to establish new and maintain existing long-term relationships with customers and to manage and interpret customer requirements - listening to clients and using astute questioning to understand, anticipate and exceed their needs.
