Salary to £55K
Our clients are primarily responsible for the design and development of lightweight munitions, force protection systems and platform integration.
Currently require a Systems Integration Specialist to ensure that the correct approach is taken to systems integration within the company and its sub contractors. This is a key role within the company and the successful candidate will specialise in the integration, test, evaluation and acceptance of systems. To achieve this you would work alongside of the relevant engineering teams to ensure that the delivered system meets the customer requirements. You would be required to lead a multi disciplined integration team, possibly spanning several companies, to establish customer confidence and to deliver fully functioning systems to the relevant specifications. A key element of the role will be to provide technical direction and support to those involved in this function. The successful Integration Specialist will specialise in planning integration phases, collecting verification evidence and collating cohesive validation/acceptance reports. You should be able to work with minimal supervision and be capable of providing input to strategic planning.
Key tasks include:
• Being the principal point of contact on IVVQCA (Integration, Verification, Validation Quality Control Assessment)
• Ensure overall solution achieves successful QCA by customers
• Develop an Integrated and coherent IVVQCA strategy
• Assist the Engineering Manager in managing/mitigating risk and identifying opportunities
• Plan and cost activities relating to Systems Integration
Ideal candidates will have 10+ years experience in an appropriate engineering environment, five of which in full-time software development and latterly in a leadership/supervisory role.
