** Field Sales Executive **
Basildon, Essex
£25,000 - £35,000 pa
REF: HP1/10127
Hours: 8:15am – 17:15pm Monday to Friday.
20 Days holiday per year.
Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 + car + phone + expenses. No commission!
Our client specialising in Road Freight is currently looking for an experienced Field Sales Executive to join their successful Sales team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for making their own appointments in order to sell European Road Freight to their potential customers.
Approx 1-2 days per wk will be spent in the office (based in Basildon) in order to make the necessary calls, a lot of which will be following up leads and service calls.
The rest of the week will be spent attending appointments and lead spotting – mainly covering the South of England but visiting other in other part of the UK (expenses will be paid if overnight stay required).
Working closely with the Internal Sales Exec generating warm leads.
In addition to the initial call /visit to the customer, you will need to give quotes – although these will be typed up/sent by the Internal Sales Exec.
Targeted on revenue (not on appointments attended) – 80-100 shipments pcm - this could be with 1 or 20 customers.
