Plant Assessor Opportunities: Full Training Provided/ Trainer/ Construction/ Mechanic/ Operator

Our client is a leading UK education and training provider offering premium educational services to customers worldwide.
They require a number of Plant Trainers for January 2009, with the necessary skills and aptitude to successfully train military personnel in the operation and maintenance of a wide variety of plant equipment.
As part of these exciting new opportunities you will provide theoretical and practical instruction on construction plant and earthmoving equipment to military students in the following subjects: practical operating techniques, equipment care and maintenance, servicing and supporting theory lessons. You will also assist in the maintenance of examination question banks, invigilating, marking theory exams and practical assessments and compiling student records and resources. If you do not possess a training qualification or experience, but wish to develop in this area and pursue a career as an Instructor, they would welcome your application as full training can be provided for the right candidate.
High levels of skills and experience are required in the following areas in order to successfully fulfil the role:
UK Driving Licence (Car)
CPCS Operator Card or an equivalent level qualification
Operating experience on earthmoving and construction plant including any of the following:
·Crawler Tractors
·Wheeled Loaders
·Backhoe Loaders
·Tracked & Wheeled 360 degrees Excavators
·Motorised Graders
·Construction Plant
Health & Safety Awareness
Due to the nature of the post you must be physically fit and willing to work outdoors all year round
Cat C+E Driving Licence advantageous but not essential
Class 1 Plant Operator Mechanic, formal Instructor Training (Forces or Civilian) and/or NVQ Assessor qualifications are all advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided
