Demonstrate excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

Duties include the following:

• Being dynamic and proactive to drive forward the department
• Manage daily operations of a busy import department
• Clear understanding of the requirements to progress the department
• Full knowledge of HMCE procedures
• Being able to develop and motivate staff
• Maintain office junior training program
• Monitor staff sickness and holidays, maintain all staff records, update internal systems
• Implement and follow all standard operating procedures in order to meet customer service levels
• Maintain department profitability and monitor and check for correct over sea’s profit splits and profit agreements
• Audit and clear foreign invoice queries and reply to avoid any netting issues
• Monitor staff data entry to ensure correct financial data is entered, develop auto rating program to streamline any accounts billing
• Produce and Manage Weekly reports ensuring all files closed and charged in accordance with contracts
• Run weekly department reports to capture anomalies in billing and estimates
• Assist in Budget preparation and monthly analysis
• Audit customer Database to highlight strengths and weakness of support
• Maintain Key accounts with joint visits and regular interaction, assist in developing further business for existing customers or new customers
• Communication with Regional offices to offer UK solutions and services
• Ability to handle pressure and good time management to meet dead lines
