THERMAL ENGINEER / AVON / £22K-£35K + EXCELLENT BENEFITS PACKAGE
Excellent opportunity to join a multinational organisation offering lots of benefits & with good career prospects. In this key position the THERMAL ENGINEER will conduct thermal analysis tasks in support of major project areas. We are keen to hear from Thermal Engineers with:
- In-depth understanding of numerical thermal techniques & their application to engineering problem solving
- In-depth understanding of finite element based analysis & its practical application in engineering problem solving
- Sufficient understanding of structural engineering & aircraft stressing methods to communicate with Stress & Design Engineers
- Demonstrated relevant technical exp
* This THERMAL ENGINEERING role involves Thermal analysis to predict wing temperature distribution for static & fatigue analysis, taking into account all systems & a range of environmental conditions
* The THERMAL ANALYST should be capable of interpreting thermal results & suggesting new design solutions based on achieved results
* Encompasses generation of detailed finite element analysis models using wing & system geometry &/or structural finite element models | | |
