EMBEDDED R&D ENGINEER - EMBEDDED SYSTEMS / WEST YORKSHIRE / To £45K
* Great opportunity to join our client's Embedded Systems Team & analyse Hardware & Software requirements / specifications & prepare project plans
* The varied position includes designing electronics hardware & embedded firmware, develop, debug & deliver high quality, maintainable code to commercial schedules
* As a versatile EMBEDDED ENGINEER, you will have strong microcontroller firmware exp which you will use to develop leading edge applications in a real-time embedded environment. Other essential skills include:
- Sound Embedded Hardware & Software Design exp, ideally in a realtime environment, with familiarity developing microcontroller firmware in assembler & C
- Exposure to full product development lifecycle
- Good understanding of real-time embedded systems
- Good understating of microprocessor / microcontroller architectures
- Familiar with developing / debugging electronic hardware
- Proficient developing & debugging firmware code in assembler &/or C
- Exp of Atmel, Microchip or Texas Instruments microcontrollers, ZigBee, IEE802.15.4 & UML or software modelling techniques an advantage | | |
