SOFTWARE ENGINEER - EMBEDDED SYSTEMS / WEST YORKSHIRE / TO £45K
* Our client seeks a versatile Software Engineer to join their Embedded Systems Team
* To apply for this exciting position, you must have Windows XP applications development experience to develop leading edge applications in a real-time environment
* In this challenging role will analyse software requirements / specifications & prepare project plans
* Also design software models & develop / deliver high quality, maintainable code to commercial schedules
The key skills required for this SOFTWARE ENGINEERING position are:
- Windows XP applications development exp, ideally within a real-time environment
- Familiar with MS Visual Studio & C / C++
- Exposure to the full software development lifecycle
- Good understanding of real-time database access & protocols
- Good understating of Windows graphics programming (DirectX & OpenGL APIs)
- Familiar with UML software modelling techniques
- Exp designing Man Machine Interfaces for Electronic Warfare & RADAR systems advantageous |
