A leading aerospace certification company are looking for an avionics design engineer who is either experienced or looking to gain more experience giving a flexible salary scale. The role is well rounded and requires good communication and engineering skills to complete high end engineering tasks within timeframes dealing with aviations regulatory bodies.
The work will entail the following:
Cradle to Grave
Setting up the design specifications with the client.
Costing the job.
Research.
Converting the specifications into document and drawings using Microsoft Word, AutoCad Lt and other software.
Preparing Flight Test, Ground tests, Aircraft Flight Manual Supplements and other related documents concerning the design.
Liaison with the National Regulatory Authority and EASA, OEMs, Engineers installing the design and Flight Crew particularly concerning Flight Testing the design.
Carry out follow up changes to the design.
There will be travel home and abroad to carry out aircraft surveys.
The clients range from the Ministry of Defense, Airlines, VVIP operators, Helicopter Operators, Avionic equipment manufacturers and other aviation related clients.
37.5 hour week. Annual leave 26 days with 1 day annual increment up to 31 days plus Bank Holidays.
