Job Description
? The company’s products are largely based in the Aluminum and Thermal industries targeted at recycling, waste manage and alternate energy recovery. The company manufactures it’s unequivocally global leading gasification technology, which is the core equipment asset used to design, build and commission complete facilities that can cost in excess of $100M.
? This engineer will be required to work from within the UK / USA and abroad to commission the equipment installed at the clients sites.
? Significant onboard training will be provided in the US and UK along with team shadowing until independent productivity is mutually agreed to.
? Commissioning engineers can work from US or UK locations and be expected to travel up to 50%. Those working virtually, (this is the preferred model) can exceed 75+% travel that may involve long periods away from home, periods of up to 12 weeks maybe required on occasions, but rarely.

Job Requirements
? Electrical installation supervision requiring liaison with contractors.
? They must have a sound understanding of the equipment to allow for all aspects of trouble shooting, especially when bringing online bespoke equipment.
? All aspects of site management, including liaison with the customer.
? Commissioning of the mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and software.
? All software control equipment is primarily is Allen Bradley.
? Carry out and record all of the commissioning tests, including hand-over trials.
? On site training of the client’s workforce.
? The continuous updating of documentation required as the commissioning process is undertaken.
? Provide service maintenance and design/process enhancements on an ongoing basis.
Technical Skills
? Allen Bradley Logix 5000 PLC's hardware and programming software
? Flex IO using both DeviceNet and ControlNet, again hardware and software
? FactoryTalk View SCADA programming software using Ehernet communications
? PowerFlex 4/40/70/700 series VFD's hardware and DeviceNet / ControlNet communications
? AutoCAD experience (working knowledge to update site drawings)
? Microsoft office experience (working knowledge to update site documentation)
? Instrumentation experience including oxygen analyzers, pressure transmitters, thermocouples, etc.
