Senior Systems Engineer – Avionics
Fareham, Hampshire

Our client is a leading international specialist engineering group. Located in Fareham, on the south coast of England, their customers include renowned aircraft and helicopter constructors, government departments of defence and systems integrators worldwide. An opportunity has now arisen for a Senior Systems Engineer to join their team.
As a Senior Systems Engineer you will be responsible for defining and managing the overall system requirements across the whole systems development lifecycle. Your role will involve validating and verifying that the system that has been produced meets the agreed business and customer requirements. This position is site based and some UK and international travel will be required.
In this role your duties will include:
- Capture, analysis and management of requirements
- Definition of verification plans and detailed test procedures, and management of systems verification activities
- Contact with internal and external customers
- Completion of projects on time and within budget
- Design of avionics cockpit systems, air-data/altitude systems or monitoring systems
To succeed in this position you must be an experienced Senior Systems Engineer with experience of working as a leader of multi-disciplinary teams in the development of innovative solutions to meet the requirements of the business and its customers.
You must also have a HND (or equivalent) or above in systems engineering, mathematics, physics or another appropriate engineering discipline.
