Joining us as an Engineering Manager at our Wednesbury site based in the West Midlands, you’ll raise the bar even further and lead our family owned business forward, personally ensuring that the next generation of our proud heritage flourishes, along with your career.
The role will require you to take responsibility for all engineering operations on site, lead and inspire a large team of multi-skilled individuals to drive the business forward on its path towards “World Class” status, continuously identifying and implementing opportunites for improvement. As well as helping to set the engineering strategy, you will assume total responsibility for maintenance engineering including asset integrity and legal compliance across this business unit and thus ensuring that the plant runs efficiently, effectively and safely at all times.
You will be a proven Engineering Manager with experience gained in a high volume, fast paced, manufacturing environment, although experience in the food industry would be an added bonus.
Key to your success in this role will be your ability to combine the leadership, management, motivation and development of the engineering team with a “hands on” problem solving approach when required to ensure that the business achieves and exceeds the required level of manufacturing performance.
