Description
Our client is a world leading progressive and bespoke Security Solutions company with contracts world wide ranging from National Heritage to Military and National power suppliers.
Due to increase in business the company are looking for 2 field service engineers with field service knowledge and electrical qualifications for installation of security solutions in Chester and Bolton.
Your Role:
Installation:
• Install equipment on client sites as instructed by the Team Leader.
• Ensure installations are to the standard expected by the Company and Client
• Complete installation paperwork as required to the Company standard (this will be collated by the Team Leader)
Servicing and Maintenance:
• Service and Maintain equipment on client sites in line with the service programme
• Ensure any problems that arise during maintenance are either rectified or reported to the Team Leader or Senior Engineer
• Investigate site problems in response to customer queries
• Complete service/maintenance paperwork to the required Company standard (this will be collated by the Team Leader)
Commissioning Systems:
• Visit client sites to test and commission watercress system
• Complete commissioning paperwork to the required Company standard (this will be collated by the Team Leader)
Qualifications and attributes:
• You will be a fully qualified electrician with minimum 16edition qualifications (236 pts 1&2). Those with 2391 test and inspect are very welcome.
• You will have experience of field service, liaising with customers and other representatives.
• You will be flexible in relation to times when you will be required to stay away on jobs throughout the week.
• You will be prepared to work outdoors in all weather
• Driving licence is essential
• Those with previous security clearance would be very desirable due to the nature of the work.
• You will be pro-active and a proven problem solver with a strong work ethic and the ability to work alone aswell as in larger teams.
