They currently have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Commissioning and Maintenance Engineer to join their team based in Bradford, West Yorkshire. The main purpose of this role is to undertake the practical aspect of installation, modification, commissioning and maintenance of company products. Within this role your main responsibilities will include the safe and timely execution of Site Services contracts in the UK, Offshore and Overseas, conducting and producing health and safety work method statements and risk assessments and participating in the site report feedback process to ensure continuous improvement of site and assembly process. You will also be expected to ensure that the company’s health, safety and environmental policies and procedures are constantly adhered to and ensure the timely completion of site work documentation.
The successful candidate will have worked in a similar position previously and will have a good technical background with experience of the installation, commissioning and maintenance of LV & MV Switchboards preferably in an Oil/Petrochem environment. You will be a forward thinking, hands on individual with the ability to solve problems using varied approaches. Highly organised, you will be capable of planning and prioritising your workload and organising tasks and activities to meet deadlines and targets.
Minimum qualification of ONC in Electrical Engineering.
Previous experience of testing electronic protection relays and associated communication systems an advantage
