The company are currently looking for a Lift Modernisation Surveyor / Estimator to join the team in the North East of England (Leeds / Newcastle) and Birmingham. The post holder will be responsible for undertaking surveys and estimates for the refurbishment of elevators pre and post contract.
You will be expected to establish and maintain good working relationships with clients, contractors, architects and developers and will be expected to keep up to date with new movements in the lift industry / market place.
The successful candidates will be qualified with a feeling for effective teamwork and fair play in dealings with customers and colleagues. Elevator installation experience would be a distinct advantage and those with a relevant construction background are encouraged to apply. You will be expected to visit new and existing clients therefore candidates must be customer focused with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A full UK driving licence is also essential.
