They currently have an exciting opportunity for a Test Engineer to join their team based in Bradford, West Yorkshire. The main purpose of this role is to work closely with the manufacturing and engineering disciplines to ensure that all intelligent and non intelligent LV and MV (up to 15kV) Switchgear and Motor Control Centres are functionally correct and manufactured to the correct standards, this will be achieved through thorough in house inspection and testing. Within this role your main responsibilities will include carrying out testing activities, ensure all correct documentation is completed correctly and on time and ensure all tasks are completed to the highest possible standards.
The successful candidate will have good experience of testing LV & MV Switchboards preferably to an Oil & Gas/Petrochem market. Educated to a minimum of ONC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. A born communicator, both verbal and written, you will be confident when dealing with people at all levels and you will be an excellent team player. You will be extremely customer focussed and will pride your self on working to the best of your ability at all times.
