Description Our client in the midlands is now recruiting a Process Engineer. Reporting to the Associate Director of Manufacturing the successful candidate will be responsible for executing assigned Product / Process Engineering Projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Participate in outlining and developing appropriate documentation to meet requirements of the validation programme in the form of protocols and reports (URS, FAT, SAT, IQ, PQ). Co-ordinate appropriate groups to work through Risk Assessment Programmes to determine the scope and depth of qualification required for the introduction of new equipment, or following modification to existing equipment and processes. Develop, maintain and communicate project plans – to ensure agreed project timelines and objectives are achieved. Trouble-shoot assigned processes to establish root cause for sub-optimal performance, design and execute programmes to deliver required improvements. Integrate with assigned manufacturing teams and provide leadership in process and equipment improvement and validation. Complete periodic review on established processes and equipment to maintain a compliant state. To present, where appropriate, technical data to internal and external audit groups (including IMB and FDA). To ensure all Company and departmental policies and procedures are adhered to.
REQUIREMENTS Third level qualifications in Engineering, Science or related discipline. Minimum 3-5 years pharmaceutical or other related industry. Broad knowledge of existing and new technologies in the pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. Working knowledge of GAMP guidelines. Demonstrated track record in generating technical options to resolve problems, prioritising solutions, selecting optimal solutions and implementing decisions. Demonstrated self-directed work habits. Time management skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Proven competency and reliability
