In order to ensure a close working partnership with their customers they aim to deliver optimum service levels, quality products and high performance.
They are now looking to recruit a proactive and experienced Quality Assurance Technician to provide laboratory and calibration service and support to all facilities, conducting physical and micro-biological testing of products to a pre-documented testing schedule which includes the production of associated reports.
The Technician’s role is vital to ensuring the daily maintenance of laboratory standards, managing compliance to internal and external laboratory schedules and ensuring standards are effectively managed. As the primary contact and liaison with external accreditation bodies, you will also be responsible for organising and hosting all laboratory audits/visits and ensuring the laboratory is consistently ‘audit ready’.
They are looking to appoint an individual who is IT literate and who is educated to GCSE level or equivalent in Science. An HND/A’ Level or equivalent in a science related subject and experience of micro testing would be an advantage. The successful candidate will have experience of working within a scientific and laboratory environment. A proactive attitude, commitment to teamwork and reliability are essential for the above position, as is the ability to communicate with both internal and external customers.
