Description
International FMCG manufacturing company are seeking accomplished Maintenance Shift Management professionals to join their company as Maintenance FLM's at their operation based in Newport, South Wales.
Position: Maintenance FLM (Continental Shifts)
Location: Commutable from: Newport, Cardiff, Neath, Bridgend, Barry, Pontypool, Cwmbran, Monmouth, Ross-on-Wye, Gloucester, Bristol,
Salary: to 36,750k per annum (inc. shift allowance) plus upto 40% Bonus
An excellent opportunity for proven Maintenance Team Leaders or Managers to join a market leading FMCG business with established brands.
Working 12 hour rotating shift patterns you will be responsible for the department and a team on 24hr x 7 basis, however there will be some flexibility on this shift pattern due to the seasonality of the product. A results focused Maintenance Team Leader (Front Line Maintenance Manager or Maintenance Shift Manager) you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management and ongoing development of the shift maintenance team.
Essentially the key deliverables will be the safety, quality, production and maintenance with revenue budgets. Your ability to influence, inspire and motivate the team to create and drive a learning culture is the key to success in this exciting and fast moving environment. World Class Manufacturing practice is high on the plant's agenda where you will be instrumental in driving this through from grass roots level.
Ideally you will be qualified to at least HNC/HND level. You will have proven experience of managing a department and leading multi-disciplined engineering teams to targets; in a unionised, fast moving manufacturing environment and will be competent working within a performance management structure. Experience of utilising and implementing maintenance tools and techniques are a prerequisite, i.e: TPM, PPM, RCM, Condition Based Monitoring, etc.
Your experience will preferably be in fast moving high volume manufacturing, Food, FMCG , Packaging, Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Automotive JIT or Electronics manufacturing environments.
