A key vacancy exists in Engineering for a Test Technology Project Leader. Reporting to the Manager of Laboratory Operations you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and improvement of World Wide Laboratory Operations test capability. Leading work to identify new technologies / techniques and processes for consideration. Provides technical leadership to the WW Test Technology Engineering Team. Actively coach and develop team members and identify and provide training within functional scope.
Key Responsibilities: Work as a team member of the Test Technology Engineering group to ensure compatibility and effectiveness of test cell systems. Responsible for the development of Laboratory Operations systems worldwide. Responsible for setting departmental standards and ensuring compliance with relevant safety legislation, design legislation and Company standards. Responsible for the application of risk assessment legislation. Contribute to the development of the Laboratory Operations test strategy. Contribute to the management of people and their activities and help to set work standards within the department. Create and maintain work plans and Individual Development Plan for all team members Act as a technical “expert” for the Company in your field, keeping up with technical developments. Act as a company representative in support of customer requirements at customer sites. Responsible for supporting Test Technology Engineering activities within all Laboratory Operation sites. Work within project teams to achieve customer requirements and project deliverables. Responsible for the development and maintenance of company procedures and work instructions. Work to priorities set to achieve business goals.
