Our client devotes all their energies into one task: maintaining their position as the number one provider of total lifecycle engineering services to the process, nuclear, water, metals and energy industries.
Due to the successful and significant growth of the business, they are looking to recruit a Mechanical Engineer to join their Piping and Mechanical team based in Stockton. The main purpose of this role is to lead and motivate a team of engineers, ensuring that projects are completed within agreed timescales and in line with arranged costs and levels of quality.
Within this role you will be responsible for carrying out engineering calculations, checking the work of other staff members and ensuring that all works carried out comply with all corporate, departmental and legislative requirements. You will also be expected to specify and procure the equipment to meet requirements, provide functional support and guidance and carry out on site commissioning activities ensuring a successful engineering handover.
The successful candidate will hold a recognised qualification in Mechanical Engineering and will have worked in a similar role previously. You will be confident when mentoring and leading others and will have extensive experience of delivering engineering projects and have a full understanding of the various stages of project processes.
Our client would also look at applications from Principal Mechanical Engineers, Senior Mechanical Engineers and Mechanical Engineers.
