Description
Engineering Project Manager opportunity, reporting to the Product Quality Committee Leader, to project manage groups of cross functional product improvement projects from conception to implementation for Cummins in Daventry.
Key Responsibilities
Work with cross-functional teams to identify top product quality issues and charter them as serious Quality Problem (SQP) projects and/or process issues requiring attention.
Analyse all processes contributing to the cost of poor quality for the Daventry High Horse Power Engine Business (design, manufacture, supplier, customer etc.)
Develop means of presentation/communication of product quality/cost of coverage information.
Lead cross functional product quality improvement projects to achieve completion on time, to budget and meeting chartered deliverables.
Essential Skills:
Degree level education.
Proven project management experience.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to drive cross-functional groups to achieve deadlines.
