QUALITY MANAGER IN PROJECTS
MAJOR STEEL/METALS INDUSTRY EQUIPMENT
BASED CHRISTCHURCH, DORSET AND SHEFFIELD
Reporting to the Quality Manager but assigned to work under specific Project Managers within a Business Unit, the Quality Manager in Projects is responsible for all project related quality assurance matters. The Quality Manager in Projects is responsible for the quality measurement of processes and products, working with the Project Manager to plan and implement Quality Gates. In liaison with the Quality Assurance Manager the Quality Manager in Projects also takes the lead role in the timely planning and executing of Management System Internal QA Audits.
You will be the Project Team’s internal and external contact for all project quality related matters. You will generate and maintain the Project Quality Plan defining the quality reporting to include design reviews, product inspection and test procedures and participate in Quality Gates, including any Internal Quality Audits, to track both process and product related quality requirements.
You will be educated to HND/Degree level in an Engineering discipline, have experience of Engineering skills, excellent communication and team skills. Ideally you will have experience of pre-project, project and supplier management
