SENIOR BUYER - AUTOMOTIVE (TEMPORARY)
WARWICKSHIRE. (Commutable from Banbury, Leamington, Stratford upon Avon, Warwick, Coventry, Birmingham, Redditch).
Rate UPTO £20.00PH LTD UPTO £16.00 PAYE
VARIOUS CONTRACTS AVAILABLE UPTO 12 MONTHS
A leading international automotive company is currently looking for a Senior Automotive Buyer to join their purchasing team. Successful history as a buyer or senior buyer from a major automotive OEM or Automotive Supplier is desirable. However candidates from engineering, aerospace or similar purchasing role will be considered.
Job Duties:
Delivery of Stampings Supplier Base rationalisation Project Purchasing activities.
Initiate RFQ activity in line with the rationalisation strategy.
Analyse responses and establish detailed resource plans.
Raise appropriate resource documentation.
Coordinate resource activities with suppliers and customer receiving plants.
Raising order coverage
Operate within purchasing policies and procedures.
Deliver PSW sign off at new supplier sites.
Skills Required:
Successful history as a buyer from a major OEM or supplier.
WIP’s experience desirable.
BIW experience preferable.
Proven project delivery skills within purchasing.
Strong negotiating skills.
Various contracts available in several different departments.
