Description
The role purpose is to implement successful supplier selection and management strategies relating to agreed national expenditure categories and to follow processes that deliver required supplier services to business operations in keeping with the company's overall Procurement strategy and agreed targets for cost/supplier management and service quality enhancements.

Functional Objectives To develop and execute best practice procurement strategies both within and across operating countries in order to:
Deliver improved value for money (lowest Total Evaluated Cost, right service & quality)?
Reduce AIM risk / exposure in critical supply markets and achieve long-term supply security at optimal cost
Align & maximise the supplier contribution to our business goals (e.g. R&D)
Fully satisfy the identified service, quality and innovation needs of our internal customers

Responsible for individually leading key expenditure category
Authorised to engage with all parts of the business working either within specialist teams or with key individuals to determine and implement opportunities within the supply base that will enhance the business offering?The candidate should demonstrate the following attributes: ?
Qualifications?????????????????????????????????
Degree or equivalent level or demonstrable functional experience
CIPS Or equivalent

Know-How
Expert commodity management processes
Procurement best practice?
Proven negotiation capability
?
Experience / Achievements
Management of a number of commodity groups
Strong commercial experience
Proven leadership of cross functional teams
