Our client, a Defence Company is currently looking to recruit for a Software Subcontract Manager to work on the Aircraft Carrier Alliance Project. They can offer an excellent salary and benefits as well as the opportunity to be involved in one of the most prestigious Programmes currently being undertaken, where the contract value of the Software Project is c.£20 million.
Although Sub-Contract Management would be ideal experience to possess, it is by no means essential. The main qualities required for this role are a Strong Software Management background where you have managed the delivery of Software Programmes or Project Management where you have managed Software Programmes.
You will possess Strong Experience in Real Time Software, Control Software and embedded language
You will be able to demonstrate that you have worked in a High Compliance Industry
Ideally you be able to provide examples of where you have delivered projects on time and on budget,
Your key tasks will include, but will not be limited to :-
Leading the Business relationships with Product Delivery Teams
Managing Subcontracts to ensure timely delivery of milestones to required standards and costs.
Implementing agreed Procurement strategy
Manage and provide inputs into the monthly project reports
Identify and manage risks and opportunities affecting the supply chain for the Project Delivery Team
Challenge and drive the integrity of the cost model for the project.
