Description
The?role will be responsible for the planning and purchasing of specialist materials, ideally you will also then be involved in the procurement of the capital equipment. You will also be purchasing using an MRP systems, maintaining contracts and expediting materials.
The ideal candidate will have a purchasing background within a manufacturing company. You will need to be excellent at working under pressure and able to negotiate strongly with suppliers. CIPS will be highly beneficial but not essential.
