Sales Engineer – South and South West – Electronic Components – circa £36K ote
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced sales engineer to join a progressive, yet established distributor of electronic components.
The challenge is about developing and supporting new business opportunities for a range of electromechanical products.
Working closely with the Product Management team, your role will be to get in front of technical engineers to promote an impressive portfolio of sensors, switches, relays and connectors, as well as considering opportunities for their other products including passive components.
Your specialist product and market knowledge will guide and develop the specific nature of the role to a large extent. The company is keen to develop their employees and their business alike, and they are looking for opportunities to exploit their strong market standing. We are therefore also very interested in hearing from people with in-depth knowledge of emech products and routes to market.
Territory is primarily the South and South West England due to a number of key accounts. In practise, you will be prospecting and managing business across the lower half of the country up to the South Midlands. A flexible approach is necessary as the work may involve the odd overnight regional stop depending on your call schedule.
